I think I gained some new readers of my journal. Hello! A couple things:

a. Don't read this with an angry voice in yr head. This is really meant in the nicest way possible. :) (There was no sarcasm in those sentences.)

b. Please introduce yourselves, I don't reallly add people who I don't know. and very few posts are public. So this could be really boring. This journal is really so my friends can keep abreast to my life and so I can remember what I've done. I do occassionally add people to my friend's list who I've never met but there's a dialogue and friendship we've established over the years. So if you want to be added comment back, introdruce yourselves.

c. I have a feeling some of you are from taxidermied's journal. While I do infact know him, you won't find sordid tales of his social life and things here. This is mostly about me. ;) So I'm afriad tales of sleepovers and floaty animals don't exist. I don't want anyone to get their hopes up about my journal.

Sometimes I forget how girly I can be.

Currently I'm laying in my bed. Black pillow covers, lime green jersey sheets, lime green swirly duvet cover, black quilted throw blanket (the other side is lime green), black macbook, lime green phone, lime green jersey pj bottoms, black tank top, lime green face mask. Do I color coordnate or what?

Originally this was suppose to be just about my face mask. But then I noticed the trend.

At a shoot a while ago I had the chance to meet Phillip of LP and Apnea. They were really nice people. It was wonderful to meet Phillip since I look up to him. so much. His photography is amazing.

Phillip was recently issued court papers from Suicide Girls, a site he previously shot for. They are saying that Phillip is in breach of his contract. And of couse their argument is based on a bunch of phooey.

Suicide Girls in my opinion is a horrible site, not because of the content, but because of the way they treat their models, and the insane contracts they make the girls sign. Not only that but they attempt to shut down any site that pops up remotely close to theirs. But the fact is Suicide Girls was not the first site of it's kind, no where in fact close to it. They usually tie up their cases in the courts for so long that the defendents are nearly forced to settle.

If you enjoy wonderful photography, I urge you to donate a buck or two. or purchase a print. or buy some stuff. If you like more information please visit his community.

The above link is for the Antiviolence LA Charity, which will go to help Josh Pfannkuche, brother of Sam from Imperative Reaction, as well as the National Center for Victims of Crime. Josh was brutally beaten on the L.A. MTA in May, and the city isn't doing jack about it. The MTA had a camera on the train--with no tape in it. This is grossly negligent. Josh is also one of many in this city and state who doesn't have health insurance. Please take a look and consider donating if you are concerned about any of these issues.

Even if you can't help him out financially, you can do your part in another fashion: bringing this affair to public attention by harrassing our local news media and politicos, which may help motivate the cops into doing something to find these criminals and make sure the MTA suffers just as much as he has.
